Tuscaloosa man accused of firing shot into occupied house

TUSCALOOA COUNTY - AL — Tuscaloosa police arrested 47-year-old Michael Clark after they say a fight between him, his wife and stepson turned violent. Investigators were called to a shooting scene Thursday night in the 600 block of Brooksdale Drive. Investigators say Clark got into an argument with his 40-year-old wife and 24-year-old stepson. The argument which was over relationship issues, then escalated to where the suspect went to his vehicle and got a gun. Witnesses say the suspect pointed a gun at his wife. The suspect allegedly fired several rounds, one of those striking his stepson in the left arm just above the elbow. He was taken to DCH and treated. An occupied house, near the incident, was also struck by one of the bullets fired. The owner of the house, a 57-year-old man, was home but he was not hurt. Clark is charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied building, Assault and menacing. The case is pending further investigation.
