Tuscaloosa man arrested for trafficking synthetic marijuana

TUSCALOOA COUNTY - AL — West Alabama authorities are continuing to arrest suspects on charges relating to synthetic marijuana. Agents executed a search warrant Thursday morning in the 800 block of 9th street in Northport and a second search warrant was executed in the 1400 block of Leland Drive in Northport. During the search warrant, agents recovered a trafficking amount of synthetic marijuana. This arrest was still part of an ongoing investigation that has been taking place over a six-month period. 38-year-old Staeshelldric Drew was charged was charged with one count trafficking in illegal drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. He is being held in the Tuscaloosa County jail.
