Tuscaloosa shooting victim dies
TUSCALOOSA COUNTY - AL —
Tuscaloosa police say a man shot earlier this month has died from his injuries.
Investigators say on January 9, a 24-year-old man arrived at DCH Hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest and under his left arm. The victim, Joshua Gardner, told police he was on 20th street when he was shot. Gardener was in surgery when investigators arrived. The motive for the shooting is unknown, but appears to be drug related. Gardner died from his injuries at DCH.
The case is still under investigation and no arrest has been made at this time. Anyone with information about this shooting should call Tuscaloosa police.
