Tuscaloosa teen charged with two counts of attempted murder
Juvenile Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Police Department have charged a teenager with two counts of attempted murder Thursday in connection to a shooting incident last Sunday.
On March 17, officers responded to a shots fired call in the 500 Block of E 31st Ave. where victims stated that they were outside when Tyler Derobert Guyton, 17, of Tuscaloosa, started shooting at them. The victims ran back inside the residence while Guyton fled the scene.
This morning, investigators obtained two attempted murder warrants for Guyton, charging him as an adult. He was transported to Tuscaloosa County Jail on bonds totaling $35,000. Guyton has also been charged with one count of shooting into an unoccupied vehicle and building.
