Tuscaloosa teenager charged in shooting
TUSCALOOA COUNTY - AL —
Tuscaloosa police say a 17-year-old wanted in connection with a shooting turned himself in.
Police were called to 26th Avenue Sunday afternoon. When they arrived, they found a 21-year-old female who had been struck in the arm by a ricochet. She did not require medical attention.
Investigators later learned the victim and suspect had been in an argument when the suspect fired several rounds from a handgun at her.
The suspect has been identified as Lavonte Wilson. He is facing attempted murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling charges. He is being charged as an adult.
