Tuscaloosa woman, 31, killed in single-vehicle crash on I-59
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama State Troopers say a Tuscaloosa woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 59. Racquel Taylor, 31, died when the 2004 Honda Odyssey van she was riding in left the road and overturned around 5:35 a.m. Saturday. Another passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver and a third passenger suffered minor injuries and were treated and released from a hospital. Troopers say Taylor and the other passenger who was seriously injured were not wearing seatbelts. The driver and the other passenger were wearing seatbelts. Troopers continue to investigate the wreck.
