      Two arrested in Tuscaloosa in unrelated rape cases

      Kendrick Rendell Jordan of Tuscaloosa was arrested for One Count of Rape 1st Degree and One Count of Sexual Abuse of a Child Less Than Twelve. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail and held on a $90,000.00 Bond.

      On May 29, 2012, Tuscaloosa Police were dispatched to the Emergency room at DCH.{} Upon arrival, officers spoke to an 8 year old female victim that stated she had been sexually assaulted by Jordan. {}Investigators with the Juvenile Division responded to the scene and took the suspect into custody in the 4600 Block of 18th Ave. Investigators found probable cause to make an arrest.

      Also on May 29, 2012, in an unrelated case, Joshua Jukeith Lee of Tuscaloosa was arrested by Juvenile Investigators and charged with One Count of Rape 2nd Degree. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail and held on a $30,000.00 Bond.

      Lee came to the police department to speak with investigators about an incident that was reported earlier in the month. The incident was reported by the victim's mother. The victim stated she had sexual intercourse with the suspect and that she was 14 when it occurred.
