      Two Tuscaloosa women arrested for fighting on a school bus

      Two Tuscaloosa women were arrested Thursday on charges related to an altercation on a school bus earlier this week.

      Tuscaloosa police officers were called to the 4500 block of East Hargrove Road on a report of a fight between Catrina Shenise Evans and Annie Bell Evins aboard a bus carrying students and parents on Tuesday. Following an investigation by the Youth Aid Division of the Tuscaloosa Police Department, multiple warrants were obtained against the women.

      Evins, 36,{} has been charged with third-degree assault, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, third-degree criminal trespassing and obstructing governmental operations.

      Evins, 53, has been charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and obstructing governmental operations.

      Each charge carried a $500 bond.

      Both females were taken into custody today before being released on bond. It is unclear at this time if the two suspects are related.
