Authorities in Tuscaloosa arrest 2 men on cocaine trafficking charges
TUSCALOOSA COUNTY - AL —
A month-long investigation ended with the arrest of two men by the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force, Tuscaloosa police said Wednesday.
Joseph Anthony Harris, 27, of Brookwood, and William Ryan Spencer, 29, of Duncanville, were arrested at a home in the 11000 block of Skeleton Road Tuesday during the execution of a search warrant. Agents found Harris and Spencer in possession of 56 grams of powder cocaine with a street value of $10,000, 14 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and multiple firearms.
Both men were booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail, charged with one count of trafficking cocaine, one count of first-degree possession of marijuana and one count of drug paraphernalia. Harris' bond was set at $260,000 while Spencer is being held on bonds totaling $521,000.
