Two vehicle crash claims the life of a Forkland teenager

A two-vehicle crash Friday morning claimed the life of a Forkland teenager.{}

William Webb, 16, was killed after he lost control of the 1996 Toyota Tacoma he was driving on a wet roadway and collided with a 2012 Volvo 18-wheeler.{} Authorities on the scene say Webb was not wearing a seat belt.{}

The accident happened around 7:45 a.m. on U.S. 43 at the 140.2 mile marker, one mile north of Demopolis.{}

The truck driver, Marty Goodman, was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.{}
