UAB Basketball Brings Home Road Win

UAB basketball started strong and finished with a 70-63 win at Tulsa on Wednesday night.

It's the Blazers first win outside the state of Alabama this season.

UAB was hot from the start and by 24 at one point in the first half before Tulsa closed the gap. The Golden Hurricane{}got within{}11 before halftime and{}were as close as{}four points of the Blazers in the second half.

UAB's Quincy Taylor keyed a 6-0 Blazers run to put the game away.

UAB will host Marshall at Bartow Arena Saturday at 2 p.m..
