Update:{} Alabama State Troopers say the driver of an 18 wheeler that crashed on I-65N last night has been found dead. All lanes near mile marker 280 between Morris and Kimberly are back open this morning.

According to Morris Police Chief, Brian Cochran, the truck was hauling a load of rebar and was completely destroyed when it caught fire. {}Pieces of the truck and its load were scattered all along the river bank. There is very little information as to where the driver was headed or who the truck belongs to.

ABC 33/40 photojournalist Mark Hendren reported that only two axles were on the interstate and the rest of the rig was hanging off the roadway toward the river. {}
