U.S. Government Shuts Down


U.S. Lawmakers missed a midnight deadline to pass a budget and avert a partial government shutdown. House Republicans demanded the Senate negotiate their demand for a one year delay on the Affordable Health Care Act, but the Democratic Senate twice rejected GOP Demands.An estimated 800,000 federal workers face furloughs. National parks and most federal offices will close.Military personnel will still remain on duty.
