People who live in Vestavia Hills do not have an entertainment district to enjoy, but city leaders plan to change that.
Mayor Alberto Zaragoza wants the legislature to help them get three entertainment districts. The focus areas would be along highway 31, Rocky Ridge and the Cahaba Heights area.
Zaragoza is optimistic that the house and senate will adopt the bill. "This will allow us to highlight our business districts. We can have events and concerts to bring people in our city and to keep people in our city," says Zaragoza.
There's only eight legislative days left to get the bill adopted.
