Victim claims he was forced to withdraw cash by gunman

An Adamsville man says he was forced to remove cash from his bank account by a man armed with a gun. At about 1:45 PM today deputies responded to a residence on Karen Lane near Adamsville. The victim told officers he had been at the intersection of Shady Grove Road and Alabama 269 when he was approached by a man who pulled a gun. The male victim told deputies that he was then forced at gun point to drive to a Hueytown bank and withdraw money.

The suspect waited in the car and then made the victim drive back to the same intersection. The suspect got into a black four door Chevrolet driven by another suspect and fled. They were last seen driving on Alabama 269 toward Birmingham.
