Vigil held for slain twin teens killed in Wylam
WYLAM - AL —
Family and friends are still waiting for answers as to who shot and killed 17 year old twin's Johnathan and Jeremi Berry Friday night. Sunday, they remembered the twins at the Wylam house where they were killed.
Loved ones let balloons go after a heartfelt prayer. Many people were in tears but they all came together to begin healing.
Relatives of the twins want to make sure the brothers are remembered as much more than just victims. The twins aunt, Alicia Thomas says, Johnathan wanted to be a hair barber and Jeremi was interested in cars.
"They had a future ahead of them, but now that's taken away," says Thomas.
A Wells Fargo account will be set up Monday for funeral expenses. Their mother was also shot but is expected to survive.
