Vigil planned for victim of unsolved murder

A Bessemer family will come together to remember 17-year old Quinterrius Baldwin Steele during a candlelight vigil, at 6:30PM, Wednesday, October 16, 2013. {}Steele was shot to death, and his murder is unsolved.

Relatives and friends will meet at the corner of 16th Street South and Berkley Avenue in Bessemer. {}According to his mother Angela Steele, Steele was standing outside on the corner with friends when someone drove by and opened fire on the group, killing the 17-year-old and wounding another young man. A suspect was arrested and held in jail for 6 months, but was released due to lack of evidence.{}"We are asking for anyone with information in Quin's case to please come forward.
