Weaver bus service could be saved

Weaver's city council could vote next week to{}reconsider its decision to end bus service{}on June 16th. Mayor Garry Bearden says the East Alabama Regional Planning and Economic Dev elopement Commission has revised the town's bill for transit service,the mayor{}was not able to recall how much the bill was reduced.

The town and commission had a{}disagreement over charges for a fixed bus route and para transit service.{} Weaver had only budgeted $10,000, but the commission's formula for a bill came up with a $13,000 plus price tag.
