Westover man held without bond after domestic dispute with a relative
A 41-year-old Shelby County man is being held without bondafter a domestic violence dispute with a relative.
Shelby County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 100 blockof Pickens Drive in Westover to investigate a domestic violence assault around8:00 p.m. on Friday night. Once they arrived, they discovered two adult malerelatives had been involved in a fight. One man had been slashed across thechest with a razorblade. Both involved in the incident were treated at thescene and transported to local hospitals for additional treatment and evaluation.
An investigator followed up on the assault, and afterreviewing the circumstances, Barry Scott Vick, 41, was arrested. Vick ischarged with Domestic Violence 1st degree and is being held withoutbond in the Shelby County Jail.
Joshua Henderson, 30, has been released from the hospitaland is recovering from his injuries.
