Wife of man who went missing after crashing into Warrior River speaks out

Questions about her missing husband brought LaShon Gray to tears.{} Kevin Gray went missing after a car he and his brother were riding in Sunday plunged into the Black Warrior{}River at Lock 7 boating ramp{}Sunday afternoon.{} "He doesn't deserve this.{} He's a loving person," said Gray.

Divers spent a third day, Tuesday, {}searching the waters where the car went in but turned up empty.

The 2014 Dodge Challenger was pulled out of the river Monday night without any signs of Gray.

His brother, Bryan Smith tells ABC 33-40 that the pair were speeding in the challenger down County Road 53 Sunday afternoon, before breaking through a guard rail and plunging into the water.

"I'm just wondering if he's in the water or whether he got out, in the woods{}and somebody got him and took him to another hospital or something," added LaShon Gray.

Tuesday's search was called off at 6 p.m.

Although they've nearly completed a recommended grid search of the water, Alabama Marine Police plan to take another look on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Gray's brother Smith remains in DCH hospital in Tuscaloosa with a spinal injury.

The family will hold a prayer service Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
