Wilson & Webb get Alabama prep basketball's biggest prize

Wenonah's De'Runnya Wilson and Hoover's Marqu'es Webb wrapped up their high school careers with the highest prep basketball honor Alabama has to{}offer.

Wilson was named Alabama's Mr. Basketball and Webb was named Miss Basketball at a banquet in Montgomery on Thursday.

Wilson was part of three Class 5A state championships at Wenonah. He scored more than 15 hundred points and 15 hundred rebounds{}in his Dragons' career.

Wilson plans to play football and basketball at Mississippi State starting next year.

Webb was also a part of three Alabama state championships. She was a part of Brewbaker Tech's{}Class 4A title in 2011 and helped{}the Hoover Bucs to the{}Class 6A championship the past two seasons.

Webb scored over 17 hundred points and grabbed almost 16 hundred rebounds in her high school career.

Webb plans to play basketball at Vanderbilt starting next year.
