Winston County prepares for severe weather threat

Communities in Winston County are making preparations for severe weather expected Tuesday night.Winston County Emergency Management Agency Director James Burnett tells ABC 33/40 that the 911 Center has a list of community safe rooms. He also says firefighters in Double Springs are working to prepare to mark homes and properties that may sustain damage. He also says the generator at the County Jail is currently inoperable, so the County Commission is looking to rent one.
