WR Daylan Abrams commits to UAB after standout summer camp
Daylan Abrams made the most of the opportunity.
The wide receiver committed to UAB last month, shortly after the Blazers offered.
"I caught their eye at (a prospect camp in Daphne)," Abrams told AL.com. "I fell in love with the way they do things, the way they run their drills and the way they pushed me. I fell in love with it."
Abrams said he wasn't even on the Blazers radar before the teams prospect camp in Mobile.
He caught 24 passes for 332 yards and six touchdowns last season for West Florida High School in Pensacola.
Abrams is 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds and hopes to be a slot receiver in college.
