      {} Running regularly has long been linked to a host of health benefits, including weight control, stress reduction, better blood pressure and cholesterol.{}{}{}{}{}{} But scientists now believe you lose some of those benefits when you run too much.{}Doctors at the Cardiovascular Research Institute in Pennsylvania found too much running is tied to a shorter life span.{}{}{}{}{} They say people who get either no exercise or high-mileage runners both tend to have shorter life spans than moderate runners.{} {}{} But, the reasons why are unclear. {}{}{} One expert suggests a "moderate" running regimen of two to three hours per week appears best for longevity.
