{}Some relief is on the way for people who suffer from migraine headache pain.

The Food and Drug Administration has approved a migraine patch.

It is called Sumatriptan.{} The patch{}provides an alternative to pills, nasal sprays and injections.

Doctor say one disadvantage{}is that the patch can take up to two hours or more before relieving the pain.

It may also cause a painful sensation and irritate the skin.

The patch will not be available until the end of the year.
