Full term is between 39 weeks and 40 weeks 6 days. Late term is the 41st week.{} Post term is after 42 weeks. {}{}{}{}{} Experts say more time in the womb can benefit a baby's development and health.{}{}{}{}{} The new definitions appear in the journal Obstetrics & Gynecology.
