36-year-old charged in connection with Tuscaloosa robbery
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. —
A 36-year-old man is facing charges in connection with a Tuscaloosa robbery on May 12.
Employees of the CVS on Veteran's Memorial Parkway told police they were robbed by an armed suspect. Employees say a man entered the store and demanded multiple controlled substances.
When an employee sounded the alarm the suspect ran out of the store and drove off in a grey hatchback.
A tip led police to place Stephen Garrett Wynn, of Hope Hull, into custody. Following an interview Wynn was charged with 1st degree robbery.
He is now being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on $60,000 bond.
