BPD: Woman fatally shot during argument with mother
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
A woman was fatally shot during an argument with her mother Monday around 6 p.m., Birmingham Police officers confirm.
West Precinct officers responded to the scene at 1233 16th Place Southwest after receiving a report of a person shot. Officers found 35-year-old Tiffany Cooper inside the home, who they say later died on the scene as a result of a gunshot wound.
Officers learned Cooper had been arguing with her mother, just before her fatal shooting.
The suspect has been taken into custody, and information on the individual will be made available following authorities' investigation.
