Sex offender indicted on 13 counts of sex crimes involving underage victims
CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. —
A Cullman County Grand Jury indicted a registered sex offender on 13 different counts of sex crimes involving three different 16-year-old victims.
Court records show the indictment made public Thursday charges 49-year-old Kenneth Loyd Woods with Human Trafficking, Enticing a Child for Immoral Purposes, Sexual Abuse, Rape and Transmission of Obscene Material to a Minor.
The indictment alleges Loyd enticed the three girls with marijuana and Xanax to have sex with him in his home and in a storm shelter.
The indictment comes five months after Cullman County deputies arrested the man who’d been on the sex offender registry since 1998.
He was convicted of second-degree rape in Winston County involving a 15-year-old-girl 19 years ago.
