Murder suspect identified as man killed in Tuscaloosa crash
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. —
Tuscaloosa Police confirm the person killed in yesterday's crash, Kieric Mitchell, was out on bond after being charged with murder.
A 20-year-old man was killed in a car accident near the Tuscaloosa Public Library, Tuscaloosa Police confirm.
The single-car accident, which occurred at Jack Warner Parkway and Queen City Avenue, is causing delays in the area.
23-year-old Tikeshia Marcus was pulled from the car by witnesses, police say. She was then transported to DCH Regional Medical Center to undergo surgery for her injuries.
Police tried to remove 20-year-old Kieric Mitchell from the car before it was consumed by fire, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators do not yet know the cause of the accident.
