Etowah County woman charged with chemical endangerment of a child
ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. —
A 21-year-old Altoona woman is facing a charge of chemical endangerment of a child.
According to Etowah County Sheriff's Office, Destiny Bree Stipes admitted to a detention center employee she was knowingly pregnant and using methamphetamine.
Stipes was originally wanted for failure to appear on drug charges and is know being held at the Etowah County Detention Center on $10,000 bond. She must complete a drug treatment program as part of her bond.
Following her release, Stipes will be monitored by Etowah Community Corrections.
