Former Bama coach Gene Stallings suffers minor stroke

Former Alabama head football coach Gene Stallings

ABC 33/40 has learned that Gene Stallings had a minor stroke this morning at an airport in Texas.

It’s his second stroke of 2017 (the first was in May)

Coach Dye says Coach Stallings is in “Good Spirits”

Stallings coached Alabama for seven seasons from 1990 to 1996, where he compiled a record of 70-16-1 and led the Crimson Tide to a national championship in 1992
