ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. —
A 45-year-old Gadsden man is charged with domestic violence.
The Etowah County Sheriff's Office say James Wesley Reaves is accused of dragging a victim across the yard using backpack straps. In addition, authorities say Reaves struck the victim multiple times in the face.
When deputies arrived Reaves led them on a brief chase before being taken into custody.
