Heroin, meth among drugs seized during search; Anniston man charged
OXFORD, Ala. —
Following up on a tip on a suspicious person in Oxford, police arrested a man on multiple drug charges with a bond set at $1,000,000.
Oxford Police seized nearly 30 grams of heroin in Monday's arrest, where meth, suboxone, cash and a stolen 9 millimeter handgun were also taken.
Though police would not release the suspect's identity pending further investigation, they say he is in his late 20's and from the Anniston area.
That suspect is being charged with trafficking heroin, possession of opium and methamphetamine, and receiving stolen property for the handgun, which was reported stolen out of the Anniston area.
