Homeowner holds burglary suspect at gunpoint in Cherokee County
A burglary suspect is in jail after being held at gunpoint by a homeowner in Cherokee County.
The sheriff's office says a resident of Jamestown called deputies to report she saw two people inside her home. Deputies arrived on scene and arrested the 20-year-old suspect who was being held at gunpoint by the homeowner. He is being charged with second degree burglary and three counts of third degree burglary in connection with earlier crimes.
A second suspect ran away from the scene upon seeing the homeowner.
