Lawsuit against former Alabama coach Lane Kiffin dismissed
SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. —
On October 10th, A Shelby Co. judge granted an order to dismissing the lawsuit against former Alabama coach Lane Kiffin.
The judge dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning the decision is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Former Alabama player Antonio Carter filed the lawsuit against Kiffin in March, claiming fraud and breach of contract.
Carter says he was offered a job on Kiffin's staff at Florida Atlantic University in exchange for help recruiting players.
Carter didn't get a job with Kiffin.
ABC 33/40 reached out to Carter's attorney for comment on why he asked for the case to be dismissed, but there has been no comment.
