Man arrested for Alpine woman's May 2017 murder
TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. —
On May 29th at 5:30 p.m., Talladega County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting at Loblolly Trace in Alpine.
Deputies found 32-year old Jennifer Abrams, suffering from gunshot wounds and transported her to Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga before she was transferred to UAB Hospital. Deputies recovered a revolver from the scene.
UAB doctors pronounced Abrams dead on May 30th, after removing her from life support.
Investigators procured evidence that led to the arrest of 35-year-old Everrett Bernard Abrams Jr., of Alpine, on July 27th for murder.
Abrams is currently detained in the Talladega County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
