Murder-suicide investigation underway near Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Ala. —
UPDATE (7:00 p.m) The three deceased women have been identified by Calhoun County officials.
Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown identified the mother, and suspected shooter, as 70 year-old Brenda Willamon.
The two victims have been identified as Willamon's daughters Alicia (45) and Jeannie (43).
Investigators believe Willamon shot both her daughters late Sunday night, before turning the gun on herself.

Jacksonville Police are conducting a murder-suicide investigation off Alabama 204 West, according to the Anniston Star.
Jacksonville's Chief of Police Tommy Thompson said three women were found dead Monday afternoon, but are believed to have died Sunday night.
Chief Thompson told the Anniston Star the women are believed to be a mother and two daughters.
Jacksonville State University’s Center for Applied Forensics was assisting in the investigation, Thompson said.
