According to the Department of Justice, a former postal carrier pleaded guilty to accepting a bribe to deliver marijuana in the U.S. mail.

Deann Marchett Dixon Stevenson, 43, entered her plea Tuesday before a U.S. District Court Judge. The date of her sentencing has not been set.

Stevenson was a mail carrier at the Meadowbrook Post Office.

Stevenson also pleaded guilty to one count of accepting a bribe to deliver U.S. mail.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service investigated the case, which Assistant U.S. Attorney Brad Felton is prosecuting.
