Suspect sought in shooting that injured 2
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. —
A 20-year-old is sought in connection with a Birmingham shooting that left two women injured.
On Feb. 10, deputies responded to reports of a shooting on 3rd Street in Docena.
Authorities say both victims suffered non life-threatening injuries and were taken to local hospitals. The victims were apparently riding in a car with a man who had an ongoing feud with 21-year-old James Sinclair. As the vehicle passed through the area two men fired into car.
Sinclair told deputies that when he saw the victim's car he believed they going to hurt him so he and 20-year-old Tonio Givens shot at the car.
Sinclair and Givens are charged with two counts of attempted murder. James Sinclair is in custody and being held on $150,000 bond.
Givens is currently at large. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call Jefferson County Sheriff's office at (205) 325-1450.
