Suspected Tuscaloosa drug dealer held on $4,000,000 bond
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. —
A month long investigation by West Alabama Narcotics Task Force concluded with the arrest of Justin Shukur Shepherd, 22, of Tuscaloosa.
The investigation led authorities to a residence on the 2500 block of McKenzie Avenue in Tuscaloosa. Upon searching the residence, police seized approximately 26 pounds of marijuana, 2 ounces of cocaine, and 10 ounces of spice. The estimated worth of all the drugs is $242, 250 according to Tuscaloosa Police Department.
Assorted drug paraphernalia, in addition to a semi-automatic handgun were also discovered.
Sheperd is being charged with trafficking marijuana, trafficking cocaine, and trafficking a synthetic controlled substance. Shepard is also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shepherd is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on $4,000,000 bond.
