UAB wins over Alabama A&M in first home game after two-year hiatus
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
Today is an especially big day in UAB Football history, as its 38-7 win over A&M is its first home win after the program's two-year hiatus.
Many excited fans cheered on the UAB Blazers as they faced the Alabama A&M Bulldogs.
According to UAB staff, today's school attendance broke a record in the history of the college's football program.
The football program's resurgence was made possible after individuals and businesses in the community stepped forward to donate tens of millions of dollars.
