Cullman County narcotics agents confirm the arrest of an undocumented immigrant after a major drug bust yielded pounds of methamphetamine.

Agents say Juan Carlos Jimenez-Alcarez was arrested previously in the U.S. for trafficking methamphetamine before his January 4th arrest on the same charge.

Jimenez-Alcarez reportedly sold investigators large amounts of meth before his arrest in Hanceville.

Agents seized a total of 3.5 pounds of meth, $35,000 in cash, two Chevrolet trucks, and three guns.

The street value of the meth confiscated is estimated to be around $200,000.

Jimenez-Alcarez is being held on no bond by the Department of Homeland Security in the Cullman County Detention Center.
