A new bill in South Carolina would stop people from having access to porn on their computers.

According to the Herald-Journal of Spartanbug, state Rep. Bill Chumley would make it a requirement of sellers to install blockers that would stop people from accessing porn on computers and other devices.

The bill is described as a way "to prevent the viewing of obscene content," according to the paper. It would also stop people from accessing sites that facilitate prostitution and trafficking.

Fines ($20 per device) against manufacturers would go toward a human trafficking task force set up by the Attorney General's Office.

Buyers could also bypass the block by verifying their age - also paying a $20 fine that would go toward the fund.
