Auburn made the cut for the NCAA baseball tournament.

The Tigers earned the No. 3 seed in the Florida State Regional and will play No. 2 seed UCF Friday morning in Tallahassee. No. 1 seed Florida State and No. 4 seed Tennessee Tech round out the regional.

Auburn was one of the final four teams to earn an at-large bid, according to the NCAA.

The Tigers finished with a 35-24 record but lost 11 of their final 14 games. At last week's SEC Tournament, they beat Ole Miss before losing to Florida and Arkansas.

This is the second time in three years Auburn has reached the postseason but just the program's third regional in the last 12 years.

Keegan Thompson, who attended Cullman High School, is expected to be the starting pitcher of Friday's game against Central Florida. That is scheduled for Friday morning at 11:30.
