In the history of the NFL Draft, only 11 Gamecocks have been selected. The last one came in 2013 when the Houston Texans drafted Alan Bonner in the sixth round.

Siran Neal is expected to join JSU's "Draft Pack". Many draft experts expect if to go early on Saturday, which is Rounds 4-7.

Neal is a two-time All-Ohio Valley Conference pick. His training methods are a little unorthodox. Over a year ago, Neal began training with running coach Sam Green--who's client list includes kids of all ages. Green's youngest student is three year's old.

"The first day I came out here with him last year he almost killed me," Neal said. "I was out quick but I sat down after the first few sets of stadium or whatever we were doing, but I saw 13-year-olds still going. So I was like wow. I need this."

"I don't discriminate. And if Siran don't run a certain 40 or a certain 20 or don't do the 7-second drill that I have, go on the track and run a lap," Green said. "He doesn't pout. He may give me that crazy Superman look, but he'll do it. And that's what I love about him."
