Auburn baseball commit Tanner Burns named national POY

Burns was named the National High School Player of the Year by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. He finished 10-1 with a 0.88 ERA as a pitcher, and hitting .467 from the plate

Burns was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 37th round of this week's MLB Amateur Draft but says he plans to go to college.
