The scene from Caden Lemons home was excitement.

The Vestavia Hills pitcher and his family let off an emotional reaction when Lemons was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the second round of the MLB Amateur Draft. The 6-foot-6 righthander was the 46th overall pick.

"It's the best feeling ever man. It's unreal," Lemons said. "You can't ever feel something like that in your life again. I thank God for it and for everyone else that was there. It was awesome. As a kid it was always a dream and up until last year it was a dream. You start making your dreams goal and once you accomplish those goals, it's the best feeling in the world."

Lemons fastball hits over 90 miles per hour on the radar gun and the Brewers obviously agree with the MLB draft analysts that believe that the pitcher has the tools and make-up to be an impact player in the big leagues.

"You don't know what's gonna happen. You're not set in stone whether you'll be the next Clayton Kershaw, the next Prince Fielder. You don't know," Lemons said. "You just have fun with it. Whatever happens happens. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be and you work hard and don't leave anything else on the table."
