UAB baseball beats Auburn, Tigers 4th straight loss
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —
Auburn stranded 13 runners on base and hit into three double plays in it's loss to UAB, 8-2 on Tuesday.
The Blazers broke a 1-1 tie in the 5th inning when Brewer Hicklen delivered a two-run triple to deep center field. UAB added single runs in the 6th and 7th innings and scored three time in the 8th for it's eight run total.
Auburn is ranked 14th in the USA Today Coaches Top 25 despite losing it's last four games. Tuesday's win is UAB's first victory over a ranked team since April 2016.
