Alabama basketball to play in Veterans Classic

Alabama's quest to reach the NCAA tournament next season will begin in Annapolis, Maryland.

The Tide will be part of the Veterans Classic Tournament, tipping off the season against Memphis on Nov. 10.

It's part of a season opening double-header. Alabama and Memphis play at 5:30 p.m. followed by Pittsburgh versus Navy in the nightcap.
